The Ability to Recognize and Understand Cultural Differences

Sometimes "weird" behavior stems from culture, that set of unwritten societal rules that we begin following from the moment that we're born! What's "weird" to you is "normal" to someone else. Recognizing the differences, the similarities, and understanding how the differences came to be, is the first step to cultural intelligence.

The Ability to Appreciate Cultural Differences

Now that you understand the "how" and "why," accepting differences is easier! You may not always feel comfortable, but at least you'll understand, based on facts.
